به همین سادگی به کارگردانی رضا میرکریمی، داستان یک روز زنی به نام طاهره را نشان می دهد که شوهرش مهندس ساختمان است و یک دختر و پسر دارد. طاهره به دلیل مشغله های روزانه قصد دارد مدتی برای استراحت به شهر خود برود

Amir, Tahereh’s husband is supposed to compete with some foreign corporations in an international architecture contest in which he has taken part. Tahereh is trying her best in order to keep the tranquility at home and keep him away  from any type of stress. She takes care of the kids and makes sure everyone is satisfied. However, she has been feeling detached and useless lately. She can’t even make firm decisions on the simplest things in her life. She doubts every decision so she decides to seek religious help and consults the Quran. When she feels she has no concept of where she stands, she loses all her self-confidence and decides to leave her family. She has considered leaving them before, but the verses of Quran had stopped her. But this time she really wants to make it happen. Later, a situation comes up and she consults the Quran in order to reach a conclusion on the future of her neighbor’s young daughter-in-law. But reading the verses changes her perceptions as well and makes her rethink her decisions about her own future.

فردا برای همسر «طاهره» – امیر – روز مهمی است او در یک مسابقه ی بین المللی معماری شرکت کرده است و باید در رقابت با شرکت های رقیب خارجی موفق شود و «طاهره» کما فی السابق در پی آن است تا محیط آرامی در خانه برایش ایجاد کند ، از دختر و پسرش مراقبت کند و تلاش کند همه راضی و آسوده باشند، اما چندی است که احساس بیهودگی و بی مصرف بودن پیدا کرده است، در کوچکترین مسأله زندگیش نیز نمی تواند تصمیم قاطعی داشته باشند و به همین جهت همواره به دنبال استخاره کردن برای امور زندگی اش است… در چنین احوالی، وقتی طاهره احساس می کند که جایگاه ثابت و مشخصی در زندگی ندارد از آنجا که اعتماد به نفسش کاملاً از بین رفته، پس تصمیم مهم زندگی اش و دور شدن از آن و خانواده را می گیرد، اما این بار هم سعی دارد که قبلاً استخاره کند، که البته هر بار این امر میسر نمی شود، وقتی سرانجام متقاعد می شود که تصمیمش را عملی کند، شرایطی پیش می آید تا او برای آینده ی عروس نوجوان همسایه استخاره کند… آنچه در استخاره اش می آید، سرنوشت آینده ی زندگی او را نیز رقم می زند…
