The Passenger Of Ray

This historical drama is set in Baghdad in the third Islamic century. It follows the life of Abdolazim Hassani, one of the great religious teachers of early Islam, on his legendary journey to Rey. Persecuted by the tenth caliph, Abdolazim is advised to flee Baghdad. He sets out on a long and arduous path to seek refuge in Iran with spies of the caliph in hot pursuit.

مسافر ری، روایت کننده قرن سوم هجری، مقارن با خلافت عباسی  و امامت امام هادی (ع) است. عبدالعظیم حسنی  از شاگردان و مریدان امام هادی (ع) و مورد غضب خلیفه است. پس از تخریب بارگاه امام حسین (ع) در كربلا به دستور عمال خلیفه، عبدالعظیم به توصیه امام هادی (ع)، برای مهاجرتی طولانب به ایران و شهر ری می آید.
