The Gentel Moon

After two years of living with his mother and stepfather, Arash loses his mom. He had previously lost his father too. His stepfather takes his parents’ place and builds him a life filled with delight and love. After six years, the people around him shake his life and peace, but honesty and love create a stronger human bond for his future and for others…Mahmoud, a computer engineer and chemically poisoned veteran, is diagnosed with cancer, and although he loves his wife Naghmeh dearly, he wants a divorce because of his disease. In court he meets Shiva, who thanks him once again for helping her the night when she was in trouble with two bikers who were trying to mug her. Shiva was conducting a research on esoteric love and she was in court in search of subjects for her research. After she finds out that Naghmeh is a professor of literature at the university, her bond with them becomes closer. Seeing their life, Shiva realizes the deep affection and love Mahmoud and Naghmeh both have for each other. In the following days, Mahmoud’s health condition gets worse and Shiva and Naghmeh both try to help him as much as they can. The Hospital rejects to take in Mahmoud so he spends his final days at home. One day when Naghmeh is not at home, he writes his will and travels to the North. Naghmeh asks Shiva for help to find Mahmoud. From the gathered evidence, they find out that he has decided to go to the North, so they hit the road only to find Mahmoud dead in a green flatland.

محمود، مهندس کامپیوتر و جانباز شیمیایی است و مبتلا به سرطان و با این که به همسرش نغمه علاقه زیادی دارد، اما به خاطر بیماری اش و با آگاهی به این که مدت زیادی زنده نخواهد ماند، از نغمه می خواهد تا از هم جدا شوند و به همین منظور خیلی جدی پیگیر انجام مراحل طلاق میشود. یک روز در دادسرا، اتفاقاً شیوا را می بیند که بار دیگر از او تشکر می کند و به یادش می آورد که یک شب ضمن درگیری با دو موتورسوار کیف قاپ به او کمک کرده بود. شیوا که در حال تحقیق درباره ی عشق های اساطیری است، در دادسراها دنبال سوژه میگردد و زمانی که به طور اتفاقی پی میبرد که نغمه همسر محمود در واقع استاد دانشگاه ادبیات است، رابطه اش با آن دو صمیمی تر می شود. وقتی شیوا زندگی محمود و نغمه را از نزدیک میبیند، متوجه علاقه عمیق آن دو به یکدیگر می شود. روزهای بعد به تدریج حال محمود بد می شود و در این حال نغمه و شیوا به طور جدی سعی دارند، به هر طریق ممکن او را کمک کنند. وقتی بیمارستان از پذیرش مجدد محمود خودداری می نماید، او روزهای پایان عمرش را در خانه سپری میکند و یک روز که نغمه در خانه نیست، محمود وصیت نامه خود را می نویسد و راهی شمال می شود. نغمه که نمیداند محمود کجاست از شیوا کمک می خواهد. آن دو از شواهد حدس میزنند که محمود راهی شمال شده است. به  تعقیبش می روند، امّا در میانه راه، محمود را در دشتی سرسبز می بینند که جان سپرده است
