Gis Borideh

Mariam is a young girl growing up in Iran. Although she is quite innocent, her conservative father keeps thinking that she has relations with other boys which leads to violence leaving no other choice for Mariam but to go to court and send her father to jail. In a patriarchal society this film is the first of its genre showing violence at home and the fact that children can actually sue their parents over such matters. Maryam receives love letters from a stranger, and it causes her problems at school and at home. Her father punishes her continually until she decides to run away… She files a complaint against her father with the help of her teacher, after which his father gets arrested and imprisoned on terms of his violent behavior towards Maryam. Feeling guilty and remorseful, he manages the marriage of his daughter and  one of his employees. Before the marriage, it is revealed that the man she is about to marry is the same person who sent her the letters, and it makes her father believe in her innocence.

برای «مریم» در دبیرستان نامه های عاشقانه ای از یک ناشناس می رسد که مشکلاتی برای او در محل تحصیل و در خانواده ایجاد می کند و حتی مورد تنبیه شدید پدر عصبی اش قرار می گیرد تا جایی که مصمم به فرار از خانه می شود

«مریم» بعداً با کمک خاتم معلمش، عليه پدرش شکایت می کند و پس از اثبات رفتار خشن پدر با مریم، دادگاه أورا محکوم و زندانی می کند. پدر که متنبه شده پس از آزادی، زمینه ی ازدواج مریم را با یکی از کارکنانش فراهم می کند، اما پیش از آن که مراسم ازدواج سر گرفته شود، معلوم می شود فرستنده نامه همان زیردست پدرش است. با اثبات این موضوع، پدر به پاکی « مریم» ایمان می آورد
