One Night

When Negar arrives home after a long day at work, she discovers that her mother is expecting a visitor that evening. She is forced to spend the night away from home and begins to wander the city. Three men with three different stories teach Negar new lessons about family, relationships, people and life. Niki Karimi’s film will take you on a journey into the dark nights of Tehran through the eyes of a young girl.

فیلم درباره دختری است به نام نگار که یک شب را در خیابان های تهران می گذراند و در این شب با سه مرد برخورد می کند که هر کدام داستان هایی از زندگی خود برای دختر می گویند.

Negar, a young 20 years old girl who lives alone with her mom, is asked to go to her friend’s house because her mother’s husband is coming over. Negar can’t find her friend, so she spends the night riding different cars in Tehran streets… She meets three men, each of whom represent a part of the society. A middle aged successful businessman who seems to be a family man, but is not hesitant of having some fun with the young girls… A doctor whose time is occupied by his profession, and is a fan of poetry, music and books, but hasn’t had an emotional supporter. His fiancee had already left him to go to US… And finally, a man who has killed his unfaithful wife and is concerned with the consequences, but out of the city, in the darkness and the silence of night and far from all the rush, he thinks he has found peace…

«نگار» دختر جوان بیست ساله که در خانه مادرش زندگی می کند، وقتی از سر کار باز می گردد چون مادرش منتظر شوهر صیغه ای اش است، از او می خواهد تا شب را در خانه آشنا یا دوستی سر کند. دختر دوست خود را نمی یابد، پسری تمامی شب را در خیابان های تهران با سوار شدن به اتومبیل این و آن می گذراند…

نگار در گشت شبانه اش با سه مرد، که هرکدام معرف طیفی از جامعه هستند آشنا می شود.

مرد میان سال که تاجر حرفه ای موفق و ظاهراً اهل خانواده است، اما از تفریح با دختران جوان هم بدش نمی آید…

دکتری که اوقاتش به حرفه اش محدود و اهل شعر، موسیقی و کتاب است، اما هیچگاه پایگاه عاطفی و احساسی نداشته است. چون پیش از این نامزدش او را برای رفتن به آمریکا، ترک کرده است.

… و بالاخره مردی که همسر بی وفایش را کشته است و نگران بازتاب های بعدی این واقعه است، اما بیرون شهر، در تاریکی و سکوت پایان شب، و دور از هیاهو، گمانش اینست که به آرامش رسیده است…..
