Lonesome Trees

Rooshan, the old and unknown poet of the city, self-publishes his poems; however, no bookstore is eager to present them… By the time that his son returns to his homeland after so many years, Rooshan has not much time left. Following Rooshan’s death, his daughter and his son, named Fakhri and Iraj respectively, seek to make their father’s literary position and the importance of his dignity known to the public. In their pursuit, they manage to convince the city officials and the art community to bury Rooshan, as a poet and a literary figure, in the newly established cemetery of the city’s art and literature community.

روشن شاعر گمنام و پیر شهر، دیوان اشعارش را با هزینه شخصی چاپ کرده است، اما برای عرضه اش، هیچ کتابفروشی راغب نیست… وقتی که پسرش «ایرج » پس از سال ها به وطن و دیارش بازمی گردد، دیگر عمری از «روشن» باقی نمانده است. در پی مرگ روشن ، دخترش «فخری» به همراه برادرش «ایرج» درصدد شناسایی موقعیت ادبی و اهمیت مقام پدر، به جامعه شان بر می آیند و از جمله موفق می شوند تا مسئولان شهری و جامعه هنری را متقاعد نمایند که به عنوان یک شاعر و شخصیت ادبی، در گورستان تازه تأسیس جامعه هنری و ادبی شهر، او را دفن کنند…
