A film about how attitudes dissimilar families against abortion.Invitation tells the story of how women experience unwanted pregnancies due to their social or living conditions. The film is about five women who learn about  their pregnancy with much despair and bitterness, and all of them  decide to have an abortion. One of these women is a famous actress called Sheida Soufi whose pregnancy has proved to be a major obstacle to a leading role she has been offered to play in the near future. Soudabeh is another woman suffering from the predicament of unwanted pregnancy. Soudabeh  is a maid  and her husband is a worker. They do not have the proper financial well-being to raise a baby and are willing to have an abortion. Seyedeh Khanom who is a middle-aged woman. she gets pregnant at the same time  that  her daughter. Being old and having a grandson, a grandmother’s pregnancy is an embarrassing situation. Therefore, she also would not like to keep her baby. On the other hand, we have Afsaneh, a radiologist , who is infertile. She is so frustrated to have a baby that decides to have an IVF. Afsaneh asks one of her patients  for her ovule. Only later, Afsaneh finds out that her husband has been having an affair with a woman called Tala. Bahar,is another woman in a predicament. She  has  divorced  because of her  infertility and now is the second wife of a man who was her former boss, Mansour. Mansour is already married and has children and Bahar is on a temporary marriage with him. When Mansour learns that Bahar is pregnant with him he gets angry and worried because he feels that the baby could disturb his first marriage. Therefore, Mansour wants  Bahar to do  an abortion. Sadly enough though, all these women, however much in chaos and stalemates, decide to keep their babies. Invitation is about women, women and their sacrifices…

این قصه ی زنانی است که تحت شرایط زندگی و یا موقعیت اجتماعیشان، ناباورانه مطلع می شوند که باردار شده اند… «دعوت» داستان پنج تن از این زنان است که یک آزمایشگاه به زعم خبر خوش، انتظار تولد فرزندشان را می دهد و آنها با ناراحتی و پریشانی با آن روبرو شده و سعی در حذف میهمان ناخوانده می کنند. «شیدا صوفی» بازیگر سرشناس سینما، که بارداری اش به ایفای نقشی که به عهده گرفته لطمه خواهد زد…

«سودابه» دختری شهرستانی که در خانه های مردم کار می کند و همسرش نیز کارگر است لذا شرایط مساعدی برای داشتن فرزند ندارد و چون نمی خواهد کارش را از دست بدهد، پس تصمیم به سقط جنین می گیردسیده خانم» که دخترهای بزرگ و داماد دارد متوجه می شود که همزمان با یکی از دخترهایش باردار است. او که از این موقعیت شرمگین است تصمیم به سقط کودک می گیرد

و افسانهه سونوگرافیست که نازاست، بالاخره موفق می شود با تخمک اهدایی زنی به نام وإلا که خود از بین مراجعین به مطبش برگزیده طی لقاح مصنوعی باردار شود. اما بعداً در می یابد که شوهرش در واقع همسر «طلا» نیز هست

«بهار» که به دلیل نازایی ناچار از جدایی از همسر سابقش شده، حالا همسر صیغه ای «منصور» رئیس خود است که زن و فرزند بزرگ دارد. خبر حاملگی غیر قابل پیش بینی اش را می شنود، اما او برای مادر شدن باید از مردش بگذرد، چون او اصرار دارد که باید فرزندش را سقط کند… اما هیچ یک از پنج زن، فرزندشان را علیرغم شرایط نامساعد، حاضر به سقط نشده و فرزندشان را برای خود حفظ می کنند
