در آخرین روز تابستان سال ۱۳۵۹، فرشته و خانواده‌اش آماده می‌شوند تا در جشن عروسی یکی از اقوام نزدیک شرکت کنند. اما غرش صدای هواپیماهای جنگنده‌ای که از مرز عبور کرده‌اند موجب می‌شود که پدر فرشته تصمیم بگیرد از خیر عروسی خواهرش بگذرد و خانواده‌اش را از مهلکه بدر ببرد. فرشته برای آوردن مادر بزرگ از خانه خارج می‌شود؛ اما دیگر هیچگاه خانواده اش را نمی‌بیند

On late September 1980, while Fereshteh and her family are preparing to be in the wedding ceremony of a relative, the roaring fighter jets of the enemy up in the sky of Khorramshahr, make her father consider moving out of the city. While Fereshteh is with her grandmother, the enemy bombards the city and she loses all her family members. After she hears about her brother Salim surviving the bombardment and being alive, she finds solace and starts searching for him. Soon the city gets occupied by the enemy forces, all the civilians flee there but Fereshteh refuses to leave without her brother. She sees her brother from afar, taking ammo to the soldiers but the presence of the enemy prevents her from walking close to him. Later when she sees him again, he has been martyred.

در آخرین روزهای شهریور 1359  فرشته و خانواده اش آماده شرکت در جشن عروسی یکی از بستگان خود هستند که غرش هواپیمای دشمن بر فراز خرمشهر سبب میشود تا پدر تصمیم به انتقال خانواده از شهر بگیرد، فرشته برای آوردن مادربزرگ از خانه خازج میشود اما در بازگشت بمباران هواپیماهای دشمن از خانه و خانواده او اثری باقی نگذاشته است. کمی بعد با شنیدن خبر زنده بودن برادرش سلیم کمی ارام میگیرد و از آن پس سعی میکند تا او را بیابد. به زودی شهر توسط دشمن اشغال میشود، اکثر ساکنان به جز مبارزان آن را ترک میکنند اما فرشته حاضر نیست از خرمشهر خارج شود. او یکبار برادرش را که وظیفه اش رساندن مهمات به رزمندگان است میبیند، اما حضور دشمن سبب میشود بینشان فاصله ایجاد شود . فرشته بار دیگر که برادرش را میبیند او شهید شده است
