Borzoo, a young mechanic, who is a huge fan of Fardin and his principles, one day meets a rich and beautiful girl, named Baran. Despite his colleagues’ objections, Borzoo proposes Baran. He meets Baran’s uncle (Yarvali Nami Dadeh-bala), who has her custody as well, and simply receives ‘yes’ as an answer from him. Three days before that, Baran’s uncle has arrived from Azerbaijan to Tehran to manage his nephew’s monetary issues. Pointing to the low age of marriage in their family, he warns Baran and warns her that unless she finds a husband in three days, all of her fortune would go to the charity. Her grandmother and her noble family, who are now bankrupt, stick by her and are making their efforts to seize her fortune. Thereby, they start looking for a man to marry Baran. Many people, including their own relatives and her grandmother’s friends, come to propose Baran. But each of them are rejected by Yarvali due to some reasons. Meanwhile, Baran is looking for a rich and handsome man to first fall in love with and then marry him. On the other hand, she is afraid of losing her time limit. It is in the last moments of the third day that Borzoo shows up. Yarvali, as he is attracted by Borzoo’s manly behavior, accepts him. This is not in accordance with Baran’s wish; however, as a result of her relatives’ insistence, she renders herself to a fake marriage. Neither Yarvali nor Borzoo are aware of the factitiousness of the marriage. Many times the wedding ceremony is postponed, due to some reasons. Yarvali leaves Tehran for his own city; although, before that he orders Borzoo to move in Baran’s house and also set up his workplace there. Borzoo, while living in Baran’s house, tries to drew her attention to himself. Also with the help of Shahrooz, Baran’s cousin, who is a member of ‘2nd of Khordad’ political movement, arranges a small party, hoping to attract Baran; however, it all leads to nowhere. One day Baran meets Aryo Shams in an accident. Aryo claims that he is a rich man who had lived abroad for many years, and that he owns a farm in Arizona, US. Baran’s family, having the dream of living in the US, ask Aryo for his help to move there. Baran and Aryo decide to get married before moving aborad. Meanwhile, Yarvali has ordered Baran to get pregnant with Borzoo’s child soon. Baran’s grandmother and other relatives are selling the furniture, also they have made a fake conveyance to sell Baran’s house. Shahrooz and some other members of the 2nd of Khordad movement find out that Aryo, whose real name is Abbas, is a defrauder. However, before getting a chance to inform Baran about the truth, they are kidnapped by Abbas’ gang. Baran tells the truth of their relationship to Borzoo, and he desperately leaves the house. People from a group, named ‘Pressure’, who are always in conflict with the 2nd of Khordad movement, identify Abbas’ gang and find their hiding place. First, they release Shahrooz and his companions, then they all try to prevent Baran and Abbas’ marriage. On the way, their motorcycle breaks down; thus, they are not able to arrive there on time. Despite all these, Baran finally rejects the idea of marrying Aryo and says NO! She then, goes after Borzoo and asks him to marry her. Yarvali, as he has been informed about the whole event by one of Baran’s relatives, shows up with police officers. Abbas gets arrested. Meantime, as Shahrooz and his friend from the Pressure group are debating, some cars arrive. They notice that President Khatami is on one of them; thereby, they are left with no choice but to both get on the president’s car.

برزو، مکانیک جوانی که شیفته فردین و مرام جوانمردی او است، یک روز با باران دختر زیبا و متمولی آشنا می شود و با وجود مخالفت همکارانش به خواستگاری او می رود و با عمو و قیم باران (یارولی نامی دده بالا) ملاقات میکند و به سادگی پاسخ مثبت میگیرد.یارولی نامی دده بالا که سه روز قبل، از آذربایجان برای رسیدگی به امور مالی برادرزاده اش به تهران آمده با اشاره به سن پایین ازدواج در خانواده، به باران سه روز برای پیدا کردن شوهر فرصت می دهد، چه بعد از سپری شدن مهلت، تمام دارایی او مطابق وصیت نامه وقف امور خیریه خواهد شد. مادربزرگ و خانواده اشرافی ورشکسته باران که انگل وار در اطراف باران حضور دارند، مترصد به دست آوردن دارایی های او هستند. پس تلاششان را برای پیدا کردن شوهر برای باران آغاز میکنند. بسیاری از اقوام و دوستان خانوادگی مادربزرگ باران به خواستگاری باران می آیند اما هر بار یارولی هرکدام را به دلیلی رد می کند، این در حالی است که باران چشم به راه جوان زیبا و پولداری است تا عاشقش شود و با او پیوند زناشویی منعقد کند و از طرفی هم نگران از دست رفتن فرصت سه روزه است.در آخرین لحظه هایی که زمان مهلت در حال سپری شدن است، برزو از راه می رسد و یارولی از غیرت و نحوه برخورد برزو خوشش آمده به او پاسخ مثبت میدهد. باران هرچند که از این امر راضی نیست، اما با اصرار اقوامش تن به عقد ساختگی می دهد که نه برزو أز دروغ بودنش خبر دارد و نه یارولی.مراسم ازدواج هربار به دلیلی به تعویق می افتد. ویارولی به شهر خود بازمی گردد و پیش از آن دستور میدهد که برزو در منزل باران ساکن شود و تعمیرگاهش را هم، همان جا دائر کند.برزو با اقامت در منزل باران، سعی می کند تا توجه باران را به خودش جلب کند و با کمک شهروز – پسرخاله باران که از جوانان طرفدار دوم خردادی است – مهمانی کوچکی ترتیب میدهد تا بلکه نظر باران را بیشتر معطوف خود سازد که البته نتیجه ای نمی گیرد.یک روز باران، در یک تصادف با آریو شمس آشنا می شود که مدعی است جوان متمولی است و سال ها در خارج از کشور می زیسته و در آریزونای آمریکا دارای مزرعه است. خانواده باران که از سالها پیش سودای اقامت در آمریکا را داشته اند از آریو میخواهند تا ترتیب انتقال آن را نیز به آمریکا بدهد. باران و آریو قرار می گذارند تا پیش از سفر به آمریکا باهم ازدواج کنند. در حالی که یارولی به باران تأکید کرده که او باید به زودی از برزو صاحب بچه شود.

مادربزرگ باران و سایر فامیل، مشغول فروش وسایل خانه هستند و سندی جعلی نیز برای خانه باران آماده کرده اند تا آن را به فروش برسانند.شهروز و دیگر بچه های دوم خردادی متوجه می شوند که آریو با اسم اصلی عباس، شیاد و کلاهبردار است اما پیش از این که بتوانند ماجرا را به باران خبر دهند، توسط گروه عباس ربوده و زندانی میشوند.باران بالاخره حقیقت رابطه با برزو را به او میگوید و برزو دل شکسته خانه باران را ترک می کند. بر و بچه های موسوم به فشار که دائماً با گروه دوم خردادی ها درگیر هستند، باند خلافکار عباس را شناسایی و مخفیگاه او را پیدا می کنند و شهروز و دوستانش را که گرفتار شده اند، آزاد میکنند و بعد به اتفاق سعی میکنند تا جلوی مراسم ازدواج باران و عباس (آریو) را بگیرند، اما بین راه موتورشان خراب می شود و از رسیدن به مراسم جا می مانند. معهذا  باران در آخرین لحظه، سر سفره عقد به آریو شمس نه میگوید و به دنبال برزو رفته و از او درخواست ازدواج میکند.یارولی که به وسیله یکی از اقوام باران در جریان تمامی رویدادها قرار داشته، به همراه پلیسی در صحنه حاضر شده و عباس را دستگیر میکند. در این حال شهروز و دوست فشاری به طور مرتب در حال رجز خواندن برای هم هستند که چند اتومبیل از راه می رسند، آنها می بینند که رئیس جمهور خاتمی سوار یکی از آنهاست. آن دو هیچ راهی ندارند جز این که به اتفاق سوار اتومبیل رئیس جمهور شوند.
