The film is based on the Tehran’s Bombardment conditions in 1988.

Life is going on with horror during the years of war and urban bombardment in Tehran. The terrifying reality of death is forgotten by love and affection, life and hope. The memories of the dead are repeated in the words of the living. Death is an absolute question and life and love are frequent ambiguities. “Bomb. A Love Story” concerns the ambiguity of love and life and not the absolute darkness of death.

در میانه سال‌های جنگ و بمباران شهری در تهران، زندگی با وحشت بسیار می‌گذرد. اما عشق و دلدادگی، زندگی و امید، وحشت واقعیت مرگ را به فراموشی می‌سپارد. رفتگان در محدوده کلمات زندگان تکرار می‌شوند. مرگ سوال مطلق است و زندگی و عشق ابهام مکرر. “بمب یک عاشقنه ساده” با کورسوی ابهام عشق و زندگی کار دارد نه با سیاهی مطلق مرگ
