Sadry and Yadi work at a petrol station removed from the main traffic routes since the building of a ring road. It is winter and heavy snow lies on the ground. Sadry, a former performing strongman who accidentally lost an eye, is behaving strangely. Yadi is in love with a girl from a nearby town and sends her passionate letters via the local postman. They receive a visit from Orooj, their only contact with the exterior.

Sadri and Yadi both work in an old and abandoned gas station. Yadi has fallen for a girl in the town nearby and pays the postman, Abbas Esmaeili, to take his love letters to the girl, not knowing that the postman himself loves the same girl. He is waiting for the owners of the gas station to pay him his unpaid wages and he intends to marry the girl he loves with the money.

صدری و «یدی» کارگران یک پمپ بنزین قدیمی اند که به علت عوض شدن مسیر جاده اصلی، چندی است متروک مانده، «یدی» که دل در گرو دختری در شهر مجاور دارد در قبال پرداخت مبلغی به «عباس اسماعیلی» پستچی ساده دل منطقه، نامه های عاشقانه اش را به عشقی نادیده اش می رساند و منتظر ورود صاحبان پمپ بنزین و دریافت طلب های معوقه اش است تا با آن بتواند زندگی مشترکش را با دختر مورد علاقه اش آغاز کند. غافل از اینکه خود پستچی هم دلباخته دختر است!….
